        By- Leo Disali Gunasekere Morning prayers ‘ Generations’ , a project done by us, was organized with the view of celebrating World Children’s and Elders day. The specialty of this project was the fact that both world children’s day and elders' day was celebrated together. It was held at S.S. Marian John Senior Home Pita Kotte. The morning started with an opening prayer, boosting up the energy of the young as well as old souls.  After the blessings we proceeded on to the singing session where sheets of printed papers were distributed among the crowd. Songs were selected by the knowledge gathered through the many visits which was done before the day of the project. By Leo Dinendri Wilegoda Arachchi Boiling Belimal in a 3 stoned hearth Aegle marmelos  also commonly known in Sri Lanka as Beli, is a species of tree native to Southeast Asia which many beliefs that can treat various illnesses in traditional medicine. Many Sri Lankans enjoy a cup of the beli mal herbal tea with a piece of kithul jaggery. It is a common belief that it treats asthma, indigestion, heartburn, and relieving palpitations. Hence the Leos decided on giving a bei mal dansala on the 16th of July 2019 at the Parama Dhamma Niketharanaramaya Temple. We prepared the herbal drink with the support of our brother Leo Dhanusha. The pan filled with water stood on a three brick cooker made by the leos while some Leos' was ensuring the flames do not reduce the others were cleaning the needed utensils.
